Why does oMeds use synchronous-only consultations?
Synchronous video consultation with a licensed provider in your state is required for every initiation and material change. It supports candidacy review, modality selection, biomarker interpretation, and recalibration with full clinical context.
Full answer
Every oMeds initiation and material change is reviewed in a synchronous video consultation with a licensed provider in the patient's state. This supports candidacy review, modality and dose selection, biomarker interpretation, side-effect management, and recalibration with full clinical context that questionnaire-only reviews cannot match. The model preserves continuity, regulatory clarity, and the patient–provider relationship that hormone and metabolic optimization require. Recalibration is built into the membership rather than left to the patient to schedule.
Educational. Not a substitute for individualized provider review.
